Woman Caught With Drug Equipment: Police Blotter

Health Hazard

While assisting Illinois State Police with an arrest, a Burr Ridge police officer at 1:54 p.m. came into contact with the blood of a prisoner, who had cuts and scrapes on his arm. The officer was treated at the scene, County Line Road at I-55, and also at a hospital, according to police.

No Driver's License

Michael Escobedo, 20, of the 2400 block of South Albany, Chicago, was charged with no valid driver's license and cited for disobeying a traffic control device (a no u-turn sign). Police stopped Escobedo's 2008 Dodge at 2:34 a.m. on County Line Road at I-55. 

Possession of Drug Equipment

Nemanja Skadarka, 20, of the 7500 block of Sheridan Road, Willowbrook, was charged at 1:45 a.m. with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Skadarka was the passenger of a 2002 Saturn that was stopped at County Line Road and Burr Ridge Parkway for no rear registration plate light. The driver was given a written warning.
