Man Busts Hotel's TV Screen: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, May 31-June 2

SUNDAY, JUNE 2

No Driver's License 

Zohair Sultan, 26, of the 2700 block of West Dempster, Park Ridge, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license (license was canceled) and cited for no front license plate. Sultan was arrested after police stopped his 2004 Dodge at 1:04 a.m. at Meadowbrook and 83rd Court.
SATURDAY, JUNE 1

Creek Caper

Someone at 8:14 p.m. reported that juveniles were playing along the creek at Manor and St. James. Police were unable to locate anyone.

Grill Goes Bye-Bye

A man's vehicle grill fell off while he was driving into Chicago on I-55. Since the incident did not occur in Burr Ridge, the case was referred to Illinois State Police at 4:28 p.m. 

Hotel Guest Busts TV

A male hotel guest broke the TV in his room on the first block of 15W North Frontage Road, police said. The hotel was not sure how it was broken but a housekeeper discovered the damage at 3:12 p.m. after the guest checked out. Management wanted the incident documented because they are sending him the bill.

DUI, Alcohol

Deividas Vizgaitis, 21, of the 6700 block of Quincy Street, Willowbrook, was charged with charged with driving under the influence and cited for speeding. Vizgaitis was arrested at 8:18 a.m. on the 7600 block of South County Line Road after police initiated a traffic stop on his 1994 Lexus.

FRIDAY, MAY 31

Speeding, Uninsured Vehicle

The driver of a 2005 Chevrolet was cited at 8:20 p.m. for disobeying a stop sign, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle on Veterans Boulevard, police said.
