Liquor Bottle Hurled at Garage, Chicago Bulls Ticket-Seller a No Show: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, May 12-19.

SUNDAY, MAY 19

SUV Smash-and-Grab

Police say a complainant reported at 6:33 p.m. that an unknown person smashed the front passenger-side window of their Jeep while it was parked in the 6900 block of Madison Street and stole a laptop and purses that were inside. 

The value of the missing items is unknown, police said.

MONDAY, MAY 13

Ticket-Buyers Left High and Dry


Complainants reported at 3:18 p.m. that a man they had paid for Chicago Bulls playoff tickets did not show up to provide the tickets, according to police. 

The complainants had previously met the man, police said. The case remains under investigation.

SUNDAY, MAY 12

Bottle Tossed at Garage

A complainant from the 1200 block of Laurie Lane reported at 2:31 p.m. that someone had thrown a liquor bottle at the complainant's garage door, police said, leaving a dent.

Police said the offender's identity is unknown.
