Jewelry Left Poolside by Hotel Patrons Goes Missing: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, May 15-19.

Editor's note: The Burr Ridge Police Department alerted Patch that the jewelry believed to have been stolen at the Chicago Marriott Southwest has been located.

SUNDAY, MAY 19

Valuables Stolen from Home

A resident from the 15W400 block of 62nd Street reported at 8:57 a.m. that several pieces of jewelry, a purse, and an iPod were taken from their home by an unknown person at an unknown time.  FRIDAY, MAY 17

Poolside Jewelry Snatched

Guests of Chicago Marriott Southwest, 1200 Burr Ridge Pkwy., reported at 8:01 p.m. that someone stole more than $500 worth of their jewelry while it sat unattended near the hotel pool, police said.  There is no suspect information at this time. WEDNESDAY, MAY 15

Identity Theft Reported

A complainant from the 0-100 block of Oak Creek Drive reported at 10:07 a.m. unauthorized transactions made using the complainant's bank information. The incident was reported to the bank.  There are plenty of ways to keep up on Burr Ridge news: See past Burr Ridge police news:
