Man Charged With Retail Theft, Criminal Trespassing

Matthew J. Heinzel, 46, of the 7900 block of Garfield, Burr Ridge, was charged with criminal trespass to land and retail theft. Heinzel was arrested at 3:34 p.m. on the 100 block of Burr Ridge Parkway.  

THURSDAY, JULY 18

$1,700 Taken from Home

A resident reported that someone took $1,700 cash from his home on the 6500 block of Elm Street, police said. The incident is under investigation.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17

Theft Over $500

Several rings were taken from a female's room on the first block of 15W North Frontage Road, police said. The value of the rings was unknown at the time of the report.
