Chicago Victory Gardens: Yesterday and Tomorrow

The Darien Park District Garden Club and Indian Prairie present LaManda
Joy, a board member of the American Community Gardening Association,
Garden Writers Association, and the Culinary Historians of Chicago. She
will share via a slideshow her insight into Chicago's role in the World
War Two Victory Garden movements and how the city is again in the
national forefront in community food production. This program is
rescheduled from June 3, 2013. (Funded by the Dimpy Pathria Fund and
cosponsored by the Darien Park District Garden Club.) Please note that this event will be held at The Darien Sportsplex.
