TUESDAY, FEB. 12 A complainant from a business in the 7600 block of South County Line Road reported to police at 2:28 p.m. that a caller used obscene and vulgar language when speaking to an employee, police said. The case is under investigation. SATURDAY, FEB. 9 A complainant reported at 12:27 p.m. that his or her 2013 Ford Fusion was scratched while the car was parked in 16W100 block of 83rd Street, police said. A business in the 15W700 block of North Frontage Road reported at 9:03 p.m. receiving several harassing phone calls throughout the night, police said. TUESDAY, JAN. 15 A mirror was taken from in front of a house in the 0-100 block of Hidden Lake Drive, according to a police report filed by the resident at 1:31 p.m., police said. Police did not provide an exact value for the mirror but said it was worth less than $500.   A complainant from the 8400 block of Clynderven Road reported at 8:05 p.m. that his or her mailbox had been knocked down, police said. MONDAY, JAN. 14 Six wooden chairs were reported stolen from the basement of a foreclosed home in the 0-100 block of Dougshire Court, police said. 2 Middle-Schoolers Charged with Pot Possession: Police Blotter

Hinsdale police reports, Jan. 8-14.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9 Two 13-year-old boys, one from Hinsdale and one from Burr Ridge, were charged with possession of cannabis after they were found with the drug while at Hinsdale Middle School at 8:48 a.m., police said. School officials reported to police that while on school grounds the two teens were in possession of a green leafy substance they determined was cannabis. The boys were charged by police as juveniles and released to their parents. A resident from the 500 block of North Vine Street reported to police that plastic Christmas decorations on their property valued at $170 were damaged between 9 p.m. Jan. 8 and 5 p.m. Jan. 9. It was unknown how the mailbox was damaged and who damaged it. MONDAY, DEC. 3 Police reported that a car driving on the shoulder on Route 83 near Central Avenue was struck at 8:47 a.m. by a car entering the right turn lane. SATURDAY, NOV. 24 Management at Extended Stay America, 15W122 S. Frontage Rd., reported to police at 12:40 p.m. that they had found in one of their rooms a burned portion of carpet, a damaged TV remote and cable box, and a spilled beer, police said. The case is under investigation.   WEDNESDAY, NOV. 21 An officer on patrol in the 1400 block of Tomlin Drive at 3:28 a.m. found that a mailbox had been damaged by a pumpkin, police said. The resident was notified.  A complainant from the 200 block of Burr Ridge Parkway reported that two of the complainant's windows were shot out sometime between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 20 and 10:15 a.m. Nov. 21. SATURDAY, SEPT. 15 Coron Brinson, 33, of the 2800 block of Marshall Boulevard, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and Valley View Drive at 1:18 a.m., police said. FRIDAY, SEPT. 14 Timothy Brady, 63, of the 6100 block of Keller Drive, Burr Ridge, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a DUI charge at 8:05 p.m., police said. MONDAY, JUNE 11 At about 4:04 p.m., Burr Ridge Police received a report that someone had moved a resident's statue on the 0 - 100 Block of Mallory Court from the resident's yard onto the porch. The report says a smoke bomb was then placed on the resident's porch. At about 8:44, p.m. police stopped some teens from throwing water balloons at cars at the intersection of County Line Road and 79th Street. Police say no damage was reported, and the teens were given a lecture. At about 10:39 p.m. police received a report that a copper pipe had been found bent in a home under construction on the 6600 Block of County Line Road. TUESDAY, JUNE 5 At about 3:29 p.m., Burr Ridge Police received a report that someone had shattered the passenger window of a van parked on the 8300 Block of Madison Street. Nothing was taken in the incident. At about 9:29 a.m., someone drove into a rental car on the 7000 Block of High Grove Boulevard. MONDAY, JUNE 4 At about 9:18 a.m. a resident on the 100 Block of Post Road found the passenger side window of the car broken. Nothing was taken in the incident.
