According to the Crain's analysis, of 3,665 Burr Ridge homeowners, 35.9 percent are mortgage-free. That's compared to 32.5 percent in Hinsdale, 26.6 percent in Clarendon Hills, 34.1 percent in Darien, and 49.1 percent in Willowbrook. Burr Ridge's number is higher than the Chicagoland average, which is nearly 26 percent.
