Snow Update: Trinity Lutheran School Closed, Storm Bringing 4-8 Inches

We've got another round of snowy winter weather bearing down Monday and Tuesday. Track the storm with this interactive map.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning through midnight Tuesday for a storm that could dump between 4 and 8 inches on the Chicago area. Light snow is supposed to begin late Monday and gradually increase in intensity through Tuesday morning, at times falling at a rate of 1-2 inches per hour. Some areas could see snow totals higher than the predicted amounts. Travel will be "extremely dangerous" throughout the duration of the storm, the National Weather Service warns. The storm will affect both the morning and afternoon commute. Trinity Lutheran School in Burr Ridge is closed today, as is the local Reading Across Illinois Library service.
