Wednesday, March 6 A catalytic converter was reported missing around 11:02 p.m. from a 2001 Chevrolet van parked in the 7700 block of Grant Street, Burr Ridge police said. A little more than an hour later, another catalytic converter was reported missing from a 2009 Chevrolet van parked on the same block. Both incidents are under investigation. Someone tried opening a credit card in the name of a resident in the 300 block of Devon Drive, police said. A credit bureau notified the resident of the incident. He didn’t suffer any monetary loss.
