Tax Relief Coming to D107 Residents
Pleasantdale School Board pays off some debt.
Residents of Pleasantdale School District 107 should see some tax relief in the fall after the Board of Education approved a $750,000 debt service abatement of construction bonds. Superintendent Mark Fredisdorf said the district had sufficient finances to pay off the bonds. Doing so he said will pass some tax relief on to district residents. Fredisdorf said district residents should see some relief beginning in the fall. Board members also voted to continue a 1998 transportation agreement with St. John of the Cross. Under the terms of the agreement the district provides transportation services for students living within the boundaries of Pleasantdale School District, but who attend St. John of the Cross.
