In April, Burr Ridge continued to experience declines in home sales and sales prices, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors.
The 9 single, detached homes sold in Burr Ridge during April 2013 represented a -18.2 percent decline over April 2012, when 11 homes were sold, according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe). There were 15 homes sold in Burr Ridge during March. The number of homes sold and the median home price both decreased in April in Burr Ridge. The median price dropped -16.9 percent to $487,700 from $587,000 in April 2012. Sales of single-family, detached homes in suburban Chicago increased 33.2 percent in April 2013 compared with the same period a year ago, MORe reported. Sales in DuPage County, were notable, as well. The median price dropped -0.5 percent to $655,000 from $658,000 in March 2012.
