Detectives are still piecing together why Fellenbaum dropped out of circulation for 38 days in October and November, and what exactly she was up to all that time. But for about a week and a half between Fellenbaum disappearing from her boyfriend's Joliet home and turning up in a Georgia jail, she hung out under a fake name in a small town south of Atlanta where she worked as a live-in housekeeper for a retired truck driver. The missing woman met with a man who says he responded to an ad she placed on Craigslist.
Missing mom Linda Fellenbaum rendezvoused with a stranger for a sex date in Naperville on the last day she was seen alive, a Chicago man revealed. "She had listed an ad saying she was a visitor to the city, that it was her last day in town," said the man, who asked not to be identified by name. The man said he and Fellenbaum, 33, connected through an ad on Craigslist and met about 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, "in a parking lot by a cash advance place." "She said she got a hotel on Priceline and had to put money on her credit card," the man said. They then drove separately to a hotel in Naperville, he said, but when they got there Fellenbaum backed out.
