Burr Ridge Starbucks To Start Serving Beer and Wine in July

Liquor will be available at the Starbucks in the Village Center starting at 2 p.m. every day.

In July, the Starbucks in Burr Ridge's Village Center will be one of about seven Starbucks locations in the Chicago area to add beer and wine to its menu. The Doings reports that Schaumburg and Burr Ridge will be the first two spots outside of the Pacific Northwest to sell alcohol. Earlier this year, Starbucks announced that it was rolling out its "Evening Day- Part concept in the Chicago area, Atlanta and Southern California as well as the Pacific Northwest. "We are focused on creating an atmosphere where our customers can relax with a friend, a small bite to eat and a cup of coffee or glass of wine,” said Clarice Turner, senior vice president of Starbucks U.S. Operations about the concept in a press announcement in January.
