FedEx Employees Volunteering at RGA's Hanson Center in Burr Ridge

Over 63 FedEx employees will participate in several tasks that will improve not only the landscaping but will provide safe riding areas for the horses and program participants that partake in the Hanson Center's Therapeutic Horsemanship Program.

The following is a release from FedEx and the Hanson Center:

FedEx team members from the Chicagoland area, along with the local United Way, are volunteering to assist the Ray Graham Association (RGA) with cleanup and maintenance at its Hanson Center location, one of RGA’s seven community learning centers for adults with disabilities and recreational programs for children and adults with and without disabilities.

Over 63 FedEx employees will participate in several tasks that will improve not only the landscaping but will provide safe riding areas for the horses and program participants that partake in the Hanson Center’s Therapeutic Horsemanship Program. Responsibilities will include painting, raking the horse arena, cleaning the horse tack, spreading crushed limestone along the bridle paths and planting flowers.
