Football: 2013 Hinsdale South Schedule Released
The Hornets will open on the road against Romeoville on Aug. 30 and host Willowbrook in its home opener on Sept. 13.
It's getting to be that time of year again.
The IHSA has released Hinsdale South's 2013 football schedule, and it begins Aug. 30 with a non-conference game at Romeoville, a team that finished 0-9 in 2012.
Other notable games include a West Suburban Gold conference opener at home against Willowbrook on Sept. 13, a West Suburban crossover game against Hinsdale Central on Oct. 11, and a regular season finale against Downers Grove South on Oct. 25.
The Hornets went 6-3 last year in the regular season before falling to Oak Forest in the first round of the 6A playoffs.

- Sept. 6 at Downers Grove North (7-5)—7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 13 vs. Willowbrook (6-4)—7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 21 at Proviso East (0-9)—1:30 p.m.
- Sept. 27 vs. Addison Trail (2-7)—7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 4 at Leyden (7-3)—7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 11 vs. Hinsdale Central (7-3)—7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 18 vs. Morton (3-6)—7:30 p.m.
- Oct. 25 at Downers Grove South (4-5)—7:30 p.m.
