Burr Ridge Woman Hit by Puck at Hawks-Bruins Stanley Cup Finals Game 1: Trib

The woman was treated at Rush University Medical Center for deep cuts to her head, according to the Chicago Tribune.

A Burr Ridge woman was hit in the head by a puck during Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals Wednesday night and was transported to Rush University Medical Center to be treated for deep cuts, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The woman, who was not named in the article, was attending the game with her 26-year-old daughter, the Tribune reported. She was out of surgery by 4 p.m. Thursday and is back home.
