Two Burr Ridge High Schoolers Win Student Business Awards

Congratulations to Lyons Township High School students Marko Kostich and Anika Ranginani!

Eleven of the 28 Lyons Township students who competed in the annual Business Professionals of America national competition have received medals, with seven of those qualifying for national competition in Chicago later this month.

Medalists included Tyler Graf of Countryside, Shannon Flynn of La Grange Park, Marko Kostich of and Jack Slezak of Western Springs.

National qualifiers were Peter Swanson, Nick Florek, Kevin Carlson and Steve Campbell of Western Springs, Suzanne Rychlik and Paige Marogil of La Grange and Anika Ranginani of Burr Ridge.

BPA is a national organization for high school and college students pursuing careers in various business fields. The LT BPA team is coached by business teachers Kimberly Welch and Jennifer Steele.
