Hinsdale South Students Named Illinois State Scholars

Prestigious award given to students who rank in top 10 percent of state high school students

Hinsdale Township High School District 86 has announced that 363 district students—284 from Hinsdale Central and 79 from Hinsdale South—have been named 2013-14 Illinois State Scholars. The award is given annually by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and recognizes high school students who rank in the top 10 percent of scholars across the state. Award criteria include scores on standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE), as well as class rank.
