Eric Ferguson of 'The Eric and Kathy Show' Pays $3 Million for Hinsdale Home

The Chicago Tribune reported Monday morning that the purchase of the "two-story, French country-style home" took place in August.

Eric Ferguson of The Eric and Kathy Show on 101.9 FM has paid about $3 million for a new Hinsdale home, according to the Chicago Tribune's "Elite Street."

The story says Ferguson bought the "two-story, French country-style home" in August from a builder.

"Because the mansion never was publicly listed, information about it is scarce," the Trib reports. "The mansion was built on land that previously had held a four-bedroom home that was demolished."

Eric and Kathy is broadcast on WTMX-FM weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Ferguson's bio says he is from Elburn, Ill.

"This University of Iowa alum claims he was attracted to a career in radio mostly because of the flashy, form-fitting uniforms that he gets to wear and the early hours allow him to pursue his dream of caddying on the PGA Tour," the bio reads. "Eric likes to spend time with the most important people in his life ... his wife Jen, his four kids, David Letterman, and the guy making the burritos at Chipotle."
