Elections 2011: D181 Candidates Speak at Forum

The six candidates running for a seat on the District 181 School Board shared their views in a forum at the Hinsdale Community House.

In front of a filled room at the Hinsdale Community House, the six candidates running for a seat on the District 181 School Board participated in an amicable forum hosted by the Hinsdalean newspaper last week.

The candidates answered questions from the audience in addition to questions given in advance. Each candidate had 90 seconds to respond. Topics ranged from personal experience and familiarity with the district, to how candidates would be fiscally responsible and make tough decisions in order to cut costs.
