I have spent my entire professional career, 25 years, in education as a teacher and coach.

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

The primary reason I am running for office is that I believe I can make a positive contribution in advancing the mission of providing a quality education for all students in the district.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? 

The most important priority I have is to make decisions in the best interest of the students of District 62.

What sets you apart from the other candidates? 

I am sure all the candidates offer unique experiences that make them highly qualified to be board members.  I have spent 25 years teaching and coaching in education.  I believe this experience gives me a unique perspective on education from the inside out.

How long have you lived in District 62? 

10.5 years

What do you believe is District 62’s biggest strength?

I believe the districts biggest strength has been its state test scores.  This conveys the commitment put forth by all the stakeholders including the students, their parents, teachers, administrators, as well as board members.
