Burr Ridge Police are investigating three separate burglaries that took place in Burr Ridge this month. Police do not believe they were perpetrated by the same person at this time, but are continuing to pursue all leads.

A story we ran last week about the teachers union , inspired a letter to the editor over the weekend, which was written as an open letter to educators. This letter elicited 23 responses, and the discussion has grown to 69 comments on the .

A grant from Dr Pepper Snapple Group and non-profit kaBOOM is allowing Anne M. Jeans Elementary to purchase new playground equipment.

The team began practicing in July of 2011 for the championships which were held on March 17.
