Vulgar Phone Call, DUI, Criminal Damage: Police Blotter

TUESDAY, FEB. 12

Vulgar Caller Reported

A complainant from a business in the 7600 block of South County Line Road reported to police at 2:28 p.m. that a caller used obscene and vulgar language when speaking to an employee, police said.

The case is under investigation.

SATURDAY, FEB. 9

Car Damaged

A complainant reported at 12:27 p.m. that his or her 2013 Ford Fusion was scratched while the car was parked in 16W100 block of 83rd Street, police said.

More Phone Harassment

A business in the 15W700 block of North Frontage Road reported at 9:03 p.m. receiving several harassing phone calls throughout the night, police said.

THURSDAY, FEB. 7

Brookfield Man Charged With DUI

Michael Kusper, 46, of the 3300 block of Elm Avenue, Brookfield, was charged with DUI, police said, after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for driving in the wrong lane near the intersection of Route 83 and Central Avenue at 1 a.m., and refused a breath test.

Police charged Kusper with DUI, driving in the wrong lane and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was released to appear in court.
