Stolen Car Recovered

A stolen car was recovered at 8:48 p.m. near the intersection of Route 83 and Central Avenue, police said. One male adult and two female juveniles were in the car, police said, but all three were released without charges. The report on the incident is not yet complete, so further details are not available.

Microwave Stolen from Hotel

A microwave was reported stolen from a room at Extended Stay America, 15W122 S. Frontage Rd., at 9:25 p.m., police said. The case is currently under investigation.

Passport, iPod Missing from Unlocked Car

Police said a backpack, iPod, passport and camera were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 16W200 block of 95th Place at 3:39 p.m. Values on the missing items were not provided.

SUNDAY, DEC. 23

Laptop Taken from Trunk

A complainant from the 15W600 block of 75th Street reported at 1:18 p.m. that a tote bag containing a Toughbook computer was taken from the open trunk of a car parked in the complainant's driveway, police said. Police don't know the value of the computer.
