Hinsdale Teen Charged with DUI in Burr Ridge: Police Blotter

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20

DUI for Hinsdale Teen

Joseph M. Bergland, 19, of the 5800 block of South Garfield Avenue, Hinsdale, was charged with DUI, police said, after a 12:40 a.m. traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and Longwood Drive. He was released to appear in court.

Driver Charged with Underage Drinking

Michael H. Iwema, 20, of the 700 block of Cottonwood Court, Willowbrook, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol, police said, after a 1:36 a.m. traffic stop related to driving with one headlight near the intersection of Madison Street and North Frontage Road. He was released to appear in court.

Teens Caught Drinking

Charges are pending against three juveniles, a 17-year-old female from Burr Ridge, a 17-year-old female from Willowbrook and a 16-year-old male from Hinsdale, who police say were drinking in the 7800 block of Forest Hill Road at 9:59 p.m. They were released to their parents.
