Police Stop Car for Improper U-Turn, Find Marijuana
The following information was supplied by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction
A driver and his passenger each was charged with possession of cannabis after stopped their car for an illegal U-turn at Royal Drive and Tori Court at about 1 a.m. Oct. 12.
The drive, LeRay Jackson, 26, of 3330 W. Polk in Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis and was ticketed for driving under the influence; driving while his license is suspended; failure to signal; and making an improper U-turn.
His passenger, Priscilla Jackson, 25, was charged with possession of cannabis.

A vehicle waiting to make a left turn at County Line Road and Burr Ridge Parkway was hit from behind by another vehicle at about 7:25 p.m. Oct. 11. The driver of the second vehicle was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. No injuries were reported.
Hit-and-run reported
An unidentified vehicle struck a car parked at 601 Burr Ridge Parkway and fled, police learned at about 12:09 p.m. Oct. 11.
Two similar tickets
Each of two drivers was ticketed for no insurance and expired registration when stopped by police at Plainfield Road and High Grove Boulevard at about 12:09 p.m. Oct. 11, and Route 83 and Central at about 6:23 p.m. Oct. 11.
