Police Blotter: Smoke Bomb Placed on Porch

Burr Ridge Police Reports June 7 - June 12

MONDAY, JUNE 11

Mischievous Conduct

At about 4:04 p.m., received a report that someone had moved a resident's statue on the 0 - 100 Block of Mallory Court from the resident's yard onto the porch. The report says a smoke bomb was then placed on the resident's porch.

At about 8:44, p.m. police stopped some teens from throwing water balloons at cars at the intersection of County Line Road and 79th Street. Police say no damage was reported, and the teens were given a lecture.

Criminal Damage to Property

At about 10:39 p.m. police received a report that a copper pipe had been found bent in a home under construction on the 6600 Block of County Line Road.
