Patron Threatens Employee

An employee asked a person who was illegally parked in a private lot of a business to leave on the 15W400 block of 59th Street. The person threatened the employee and left the scene at 3:41 p.m. without further incident. The employee wanted to document the incident.

Lawn Equipment Lockdown

A piece of lawn care equipment was found at 2:37 a.m. in the roadway on the first block of Rucci Court. The equipment was secured until the owners' return.

THURSDAY, MAY 2

Runaway Returned

A juvenile left the Interventions treatment center without permission, police said. The juvenile was found at 9:56 p.m. and turned over to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office.

Control the Scene

Burr Ridge police assisted Willowbrook police with traffic control at 5:46 p.m. while they investigated a traffic accident at Madison Street and Plainfield Road.

Employee's Vehicle Keyed

An employee at 2:47 p.m. reported that someone keyed his or her 2010 Ford on the 8300 block of South Madison Street. There was no recoverable evidence or witnesses.

Identity Theft

A resident at 2:31 p.m. reported that someone attempted to make two online purchases with his or her credit card. The resident contacted the credit card company immediately and there was no monetary loss, police said.

Cited For Uninsured Vehicle

The driver of a 2008 Volkswagen was cited at 9:58 a.m. for operating an uninsured motor vehicle on the 400 block of Village Center Drive, police said.
