Multiple Accidents at Plainfield Road and I-294 Due to Slippery Conditions

The following information was supplied by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

On the morning of Dec. 29, several cars lost control due to slippery conditions near the intersection of Plainfield Road and I-294. received reports of accidents at 7:26 a.m., 7:34 a.m. and 8:18 a.m. According to police, the cars all spun out and struck a portion of the bridge.

Criminal Damage to Property

At Police found a traffic control sign broken off at the base at 200 Bridewell Drive. has been notified.

Hit and Run

A car backed into another car at the Moondance Diner on Dec. 28 and left the scene. Burr Ridge Police received the report at 10:35 a.m.

Accidents without injuries

A neighbor accidentally backed into another neighbor's car on Andrew Court. The incident was reported to police at 10:35 a.m. on Dec. 24.

At 12:47 p.m. on Dec. 27, a resident came in to report an accident in the parking lot of of 118 Burr Ridge Parkway the previous day. According to the report, the other driver involved was expected to come in to give further information at a later date.
