Police Chase Down Trespassers

Three men who were observed in Pleasantdale Park after hours were charged with trespassing after a short foot chase by police at 11:29 p.m.

Kyle Sill, 20, of the 400 block of Village Center, Burr Ridge, was charged with criminal trespassing and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Evaldas Norvillas, 21, of the 100 block of Cascade Drive, Indian Head Park, and Steven Andrianos, 20, of the 10 block of Cliffside, Willow Springs, were both charged with criminal trespassing.

SATURDAY, AUG. 25

DUI

Samuel Baez, 46, of the 2300 block of Lowell, Aurora, was charged with DUI after police said he was observed to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for improper turn and lane change near the intersection of County Line Road and south Frontage Road at 4:29 a.m.

Baez was charged with DUI, driving without insurance, improper turn and improper lane change. He was released to appear in court.

FRIDAY, AUG. 24

Harassment by Phone

A complainant from the 8600 block of Crest Court reported receving "lewd" text messages from a known acquaintance at 6:33 p.m.

The case is pending investigation.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 22

Theft

A wallet was reported stolen at 5:28 p.m. from an unlocked locker at Life Time Fitness, 601 Burr Ridge Pkwy.
