A home in the 300 block of South County Line Road in Hinsdale was burglarized Saturday afternoon, according to a Hinsdale Police Department release sent Monday morning.
Forced entry was made to the home between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., Deputy Chief Mark Wodka said, and various pieces of jewelry and a sterling silver tea set are among the items known to be missing.
"We're still waiting on a comprehensive list of things that were taken," Wodka said.
The home was unoccupied during the above time period, Wodka said.
There are no suspects at this time and the values of the missing items has not been reported.
"If you have information that may assist the police department related to these incidents, or video surveillance footage from a private residential video surveillance system that may aid this investigation, please contact the Investigations Division at (630) 789-7070," the release reads.
