In Court This Week: Man Accused of Burr Ridge Murder, Football Player Accused of Sexual Assault

Several high-profile DuPage County cases have hearings scheduled this week.
Burr Ridge—Murder suspect returns to court on Aug. 2 for what is expected to be an another update on his defense team's analysis of computer records pulled by investigators. The defense team is striving to introduce evidence that someone other than Gilbert killed Jason Dragos.
Elmhurst— is scheduled for hearing on Aug. 1 in their case pertaining to an altercation at a local hotel. The family's attorney has promised that a civil lawsuit is on the way, but that's not likely until the criminal cases are settled.

Glen Ellyn—"Career Thief" has an Aug 1 status hearing in her three new felony cases.
Glen Ellyn—, the former Glenbard West player charged with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl, returns to court Aug. 3 in Rolling Meadows, as it gets closer to his scheduled trial date.
