In Court This Week: Hearings on Benedictine Lawsuit, Local Theaters' Lawsuit Against Jenna Jameson

Here's a look at some of the cases we're keeping an eye on this week.

Coming off a long holiday weekend, there are very few criminal cases with court dates this week. However, a couple of notable civil cases—one against a local college and another against a famous adult film star—will have hearings at the DuPage County Courthouse.

Lisle—The  is up for a hearing on July 5 when the school is going to ask for the judge to throw out the case. The school's dismissal motion basically argues technical problems without addressing allegations they took items belonging to Rachel Julius after her drug overdose.

Naperville—The owners of Hollywood theaters wants a judge to enter a default judgment against porn star Jenna Jameson because neither she nor her attorneys have filed a response to at screenings of "Zombie Strippers" in Naperville and Woodridge. Hearing is set for July 6.
