Hungry Thieves Pay Up

Two male juveniles, one from Burr Ridge and one from Willowbrook, were caught eating food as they walked through a store on the 100 block of Burr Ridge Parkway. A manager spotted them doing this over a period of a few weeks. Officers arrived at 8:06 p.m. and called the parents. No formal charges were filed. Instead the boys were released to their parents after agreeing to pay back all they’ve eaten—about $300 worth of food, according to police.
