Fugitive Caught in Meth Bust in Burr Ridge, Bryan 'Beanie' Bateman Remembered

After Patch ran a story about a plaque being commissioned in honor of a late Hinsdale South swim club coach, several of his former students shared their memories of Bryan "Beanie" Bateman. An Olympic trial qualifier was taught how to swim by Bateman and his mother and said Bateman was the one who made swimming fun for him.

When annexed SAIA last year, the village agreed not to prosecute any noise ordinance violations by the company for two years. Now the board is discussing what legal options it has to help the residents affected by the noise.
