My priority will be to continue the search for alternative funding sources, with the goal of maintaining high quality operations while meeting the challenges of the current budget constraints. This is the single most important job of an elected official. I am proud to have been able to maintain a superior level of care for fire and emergency medical calls while balancing the budget and making efficient use of the tax payer dollars.

I am committed to making the board more openly accessible and accountable to the residents of the district. I want to start having the monthly board meetings videotaped, and the minutes from these meetings made available on the district’s website so that the residents can be better informed as to what is happening in the district.
