DUI, Pot Possession, Suspended License Violation: Police Blotter

TUESDAY, FEB. 5
Suspended License
David M. Demars, 44, of the 1700 block of South Ashland Street, Park Ridge, was charged with driving while license suspended during a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and Nielson Lane at 9:40 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
Suspended License
Antwain J. Ward, 29, of the 30 block of Fairview Trailer Court, Taylorville, was charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle during a traffic stop near the intersection of Madison Street and I-55 at 6:56 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

No Valid License
Issa M. Alsmadi, 49, of the 10500 block of North Parkside Avenue, Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving without a valid license during a traffic stop near the intersection of 79th Street and Hamilton Avenue at 8:50 p.m., police said.
Police said that during the same traffic stop in a separate vehicle, Victoria A. Valentine, 45, of the 1200 block of North Cicero Avenue, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Both were released to appear in court.
SUNDAY, FEB. 3
Teen Possessing Paraphernalia
A 17-year-old male was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop near the intersection of I-55 and Route 83 at 2:08 a.m., police said. Charges are pending against a second subject.
DUI for Yorkville Man
Michael D. Ammerman, 49, of the 5500 block of Jennifer Court, Yorkville, was charged with DUI after he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and I-55 at 2:17 a.m., and refused an ensuing breath test, police said. He was released to appear in court.
FRIDAY, FEB. 1
Willowbrook Man Found With Marijuana
Enrique G. Miret, 21, of the 200 block of Central Avenue, Willowbrook, was charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 16W100 block of South Frontage Road at 1:03 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.
