Burr Ridge Resident Arrested for Cannabis Possession
The following information was provided by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
At about 1:40 a.m. on March 13, Jacob Nowak, 22, of 561 W. 81st Street in Burr Ridge was arrested near Lake Ridge and 81st Street for possessing more than 30 grams of cannabis. He was released with a court date.
Accident involving non-injury
At about 11:22 a.m. on March 15, responded to the scene of an accident near the intersection of Madison Street and South Frontage Road. A car had stopped suddenly near the intersection, and the car behind it did not stop in time, resulting in a rear ened crash and minor damage. No one was injured in the accident.

Criminal damage to property
At about 8:14 a.m. on March 16, the owner of a car parked at came back to find the trunk lid of the car scratched. It is unknown who damaged the car or how it was done.
