Burr Ridge Man Charged with 2 DUIs in 5 Days: Police Blotter

MONDAY, NOV. 26

Driver Charged With Slew of Offenses

Zohair Sultan, 26, of the 700 block of Point Drive, Schaumburg, was charged with driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper use of registration, unlawful possession of salvage title, unlawful use of ID card, and theft of lost or mislaid property after a traffic stop in the 7600 block of County Line Road at 8:42 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

Brookfield Man Drives on Suspended License

Benjamin Oneall, 35, of the 3800 block of Madison Avenue, Brookfield, was charged with driving on a suspended license, suspended registration and expired registration after a traffic stop in the 7000 block of High Grove Boulevard at 4:20 p.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, NOV. 24

Another Driver Caught With Suspdended License

Derrell Booker, 25, of the 700 block of north 8th Avenue, Addison, was charged with driving on a suspended license and disobeying a traffic control device after a traffic stop near in the intersection of Interstate 55 and County Line Road at 5:51 a.m., police said. He was released to appear in court.

THURSDAY, NOV. 22

Warrant Arrest Made

Charles Williams, 42, of the 7400 block of Vernon Avenue, Chicago, was arrested by Illinois State Police at 11:38 p.m. on a Burr Ridge warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of driving without a valid license, without insurance, and on an expired registration, police said.

TUESDAY, NOV. 20 

2nd DUI in a Week

Timothy Brady, 63, of the 6100 block of Keller Drive, Burr Ridge, was charged with DUI for the second time in five days after police said he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop in the 6100 block of Keller Drive at 11:33 a.m.

Brady, who was charged with DUI at 11:36 a.m. Nov. 15, was also charged on Nov. 20 with violation of bail bond, failure to signal, failure to yield and failure to appear in court on DUI charges.

After refusing a breath test, police said Brady complained he felt ill. He was transported to an area hospital and submitted to a DUI kit, with results still pending. After he was released from the the hospital, Brady was transported to DuPage County Jail.
