MONDAY, AUG. 27

Vehicle Break-In

A complainant reported at 7:58 p.m. that the rear passenger window of his or her vehicle parked in the 7400 block of Wolf Road had been broken by an unknown burglar, who then stole a purse that was inside.

Radio Stolen from Vehicle

Police received a report at 11:29 a.m. that an unknown person had entered an unlocked vehicle and removed its radio while the car was parked in the 7300 block of Giddings Road.

Three More Vehicles Hit

It was reported at 4:44 p.m. that an unknown person or persons entered three vehicles parked in the 7300 block of Giddings Road and took from them several CDs, lottery tickets and miscellaneous tools.

SATURDAY, AUG. 25

Purse Taken from Vehicle

An unlocked vehicle was entered while it was parked in the 600 block of Burr Ridge Parkway and a purse that was inside was taken. The incident was reported at 5:27 p.m. 

THURSDAY, AUG. 23

Cash Taken from Unlocked Vehicles

It was reported at 3:06 p.m. that two unlocked vehicles parked in the 6400 block of Manor Drive were entered and an unknown amount of money was taken from them.
