3 Charged with DUI in Burr Ridge: Police Blotter

Burr Ridge police reports, Aug. 8-14.

MONDAY, AUG. 13

Suspended License

Juan Ibarra, 26, of the 4500 block of West 65th Street, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and disobeying a traffic control device after Burr Ridge Police stopped him at 8:20 a.m. on the 400 block of Rockwell Court.

Ibarra was released to appear in court.

SUNDAY, AUG. 12

DUI

Derek Plate, 25, of the 7900 block of Brookbank Road, Clarendon Hills, was arrested near the crossing of Route 83 and I-55 at 1:43 a.m., police said. Officers said he was under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for improper passing and refused a breath test.

Plate was charged with DUI and improper passing and was released to appear in court.

DUI

Roy Schuetz, 54, of the 1400 block of Fairview Avenue, Park Ridge, was charged with DUI after police said he was under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop near the intersection of 63rd and Quincy streets at 8:08 p.m., and refused a breath test.

Schuetz was released to appear in court.

SATURDAY, AUG. 11

DUI

Shawn Boyd, 30, of the 1100 block of Laflin Street, Chicago, was arrested on North Frontage Road at 9:42 p.m., police said. Officers said he was under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop for failure to signal and refused a breath test.

Boyd was charged with DUI, driving while license suspended, driving without insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to signal. He was released to appear in court.

FRIDAY, AUG. 10

Suspended License

Joshua Steward, 29, of the 14300 block of South Parnell Avenue, Harvey, was charged driving with a suspended license and without a rear registration light during a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 83 and Central Avenue at 1:24 a.m., police said.
