The Naperville Sun also report provides insights into Suchy's life in a story by Sandy Illian Bosch with the headline "Friends remember Napeville man who died a hero."
Initial reports had Suchy's hometown as Bolingbrook and his age at 57. Subsequent reports show his hometown as Naperville and his age at 59. He was an ex-Marine.
