Car Rear Window Broken, $1,400 in Camera Equipment Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Burr Ridge Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.
Someone broke the rear window of a car parked at Springhill Suites, 15W090 North Frontage Road, and took a camera case with $1,400 worth of equipment inside, learned at about 9:14 a.m. Sept. 24.
While investigating the incident, an officer also found another car with a broken window, but was unable to find its owner. The officer left his business card on the car, but Burr Ridge police say no one has called to report the crime.
Cologne stolen

Fourteen bottles of cologne were stolen off the shelves at Bath and Body Works, 550 Village Center Drive, police learned at about 3:48 p.m. Sept. 24. No one was caught.
Wallets stolen

A wallet was taken from a patron at the Coopers Hawk winery, 510 Village Center Drive, police learned at about 10:10 a.m. Sept. 24. The loss was less than $500. No offender was identified, police said.
Someone took a wallet from an open locker at Lifetime Fitness, 601 Burr Ridge Parkway, Burr Ridge police learned at about12:20 p.m. Sept. 25.
