Loyola Helps Families Celebrate Thanksgiving
Willowbrook families part of the 300 who received Thanksgiving baskets thanks to Loyola University Health System students, faculty and staff.
More than 300 Thanksgiving baskets for families in need were donated by Loyola University Health System students, faculty and staff. The baskets were distributed by local charities in communities across the Chicago area including Maywood, Broadview, Bellwood, Willowbrook, Humbolt Park, Pilsen, Austin and Back of the Yards.
“Not only was the basket filled with food items, but love and hope as well,” shared one basket recipient from Chicago’s Austin neighborhood.
