'Turkey-Busting Workout' To Help Feed the Hungry

Burr
Ridge Kettlebell (BRKC) will host its fourth annual FREE “Turkey-Busting Workout”
and canned food drive to feed the homeless on Thanksgiving morning November 28.

Bring a can of
food and you can workout at Burr Ridge Kettlebell Club’s leading fitness boot
camp on November 28 for free.  Paul
Lyngso, owner of Burr Ridge Kettlebell Club calls them “Turkey-Busting Workouts”
because they burn off those monstrous calories we all consume on Thanksgiving

“This
is our fourth annual year doing the Thanksgiving Morning Workout, and we plan
on continuing this annual tradition here,” says Lyngso, “because Thanksgiving
is such a wonderful family and friends holiday, and a time to show our
appreciation for all we have, especially our health.”

This
year’s Burr Ridge Kettlebell Club’s Turkey-Busting Workout will be held at our
new location 251 S. Frontage Road, Unit 26 Burr Ridge, IL 60527

Burr
Ridge Kettlebell Club is open to all Burr Ridge and Willowbrook residents and
their family and friends on Thursday November 28th.  The cost of admission is just one can of food
(preferably vegetables); otherwise it’s completely free to everyone who wants a
great workout with fun people.   In addition to bringing donations of
food to the workout, we will also welcome donations of any jackets, shoes,
or socks that you no longer use.  We will be donating them to Dupage
County PADS shelters.

“All
that we ask is that folks register in advance at ttp://turkeyworkoutburrridge.viprespond.com

so
we can be sure we have enough equipment on hand to accommodate everyone,” says
Lyngso.  “Our workouts are perfect for
all folks regardless of age or fitness level – we make everyone feel welcome
and customize the workouts so everybody gets what they need.”

“We
anticipate a great turnout because folks enjoy working out with family, friends
and friendly people.  And because we’re
donating all the food to our local food drive, we’re also supporting a great
cause.  It’s a great way for us to give
thanks for our health, our families, friends and good fortune, and help others
who are less fortunate at the same time,” explains Lyngso.
