American Red Cross Babysitting Training

The course is fun and fast paced with hands on activities, exciting video, role plays and lively discussions. In the class you will learn how to: supervise children and infants, perform basic child-care skills such as diapering and feeding, choose safe, age-appropriate games and toys, handle bedtime and discipline issues, identify safety hazards and prevent injuries, care of common injuries and emergencies such as choking, burns, cutes and bee stings, communicate effectively with parents and find and interview for babysitting jobs. There will be a 30 minute lunch break. There will be two fifteen minute break. All participants must stay in the building. Please bring a lunch and drink with your child.
