Days after Jennifer Hudson put a contract on Burr Ridge home, the deal was canceled.
When word came out that Jennifer Hudson, Oscar-winning actress and Grammy Award-winning singer was under contract for a home in Burr Ridge, the story was carried by several national outlets and every Chicago area news outlet, .
When Patch called Hudson's realtor, Diana Ivas, of Re/Max Elite, she would not comment on the home nor even confirm that Hudson was a client. Even so, details of the home surfaced.
Zillow.com posted 16 interior and exterior photos of the 12,000-square-foot home, Chicago Magazine reported the listing price of the home at the time, as well as the seller's original asking price and 206 people made comments on the Huffington Post about the home's construction, their beliefs about her talent as a performer and how vulnerable the home looked in terms of security.
