Fox's On York Cleared to Open in Hinsdale
Owner Frank Fox said the staff is getting set for a possible soft opening on Sunday.
Fox's On York is just about ready to go.
Hinsdale's newest restaurant has been cleared to open, according to Village of Hinsdale director of economic development Tim Scott, and could be serving customers in its two-level Gateway Square space as early as this weekend.
"Today they were scheduled for a final inspection," Scott said Friday, "and with that final inspection complete they're cleared to open."
Owner Frank Fox said his staff is working hard to get the restaurant prepared. A soft opening on Sunday is the goal.

"We'll know [about the Sunday opening] by later today or tomorrow," Fox said Friday morning.
Stroll past Fox's and you'll see signage in the windows and a second-floor patio that is surrounded by decorated steel and, at least from the outside, looks ready for customers.
