Capri Mex Under New Ownerships as La Cabanita
The restaurant is the second location of a Mexican-restaurant business that started in Brookfield.
The Capri Mex location in Burr Ridge's County Line Square is under new ownership, now as the second location of Brookfield's La Cabanita restaurant—still serving Mexican food, but with new recipes and attitude, the Doings Burr Ridge reports.
According to the paper, the menu of the restaurant has undergone a major overhaul, with homemade tortillas, salsas and tacos both American-style and Mexican-style, plus a new decor that encourages sit-down dining, although quick-eating options are available.
“We’re more about fine dining" than the Brookfield location, owner/manager Rafael Villasenor told the paper. “The recipes are my mother’s... It's authentic Mexican food."
